Welcome to The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation's website. The Foundation seeks to improve the lives of children and adolescents by supporting programs and services for those affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse, and by enhancing early childhood and primary education.

We invite you to explore our website and familiarize yourself with our grantmaking procedures and philosophy. If you have any questions about anything that you read, please feel to contact us either by email or telephone.

The Foundation has assets of $62 million and distributes over $2.3 million in grants every year. Over $17 million in grants have been awarded since 1991. Our geographic funding areas are Erie and Niagara Counties in New York State and Barnstable, Dukes, Essex and Nantucket Counties in Massachusetts.
