School-Based Request for Proposals (RFP)

The Foundation is pleased to release two Education School-Based Request-for-Proposals (RFP) that are targeted toward improved student achievement. The first, implementation or expansion of data-driven instruction, supports the use of data to improve classroom instruction, while the second promotes the use of technology-based remediation programs for students performing below grade level in one or more areas.

Organizations eligible to apply for funds are:
  • Public and diocesan school districts 
  • Private and charter schools with 501(c)(3) classifications
  • Private and Organizations operating schools with 501(c)(3) classifications from the Internal Revenue Service that are neither private foundations nor described as 509(a)(3) organizations

Eligible organizations must also be located within the following geographic areas:

Massachusetts:
  • Barnstable County
  • Dukes County
  • Essex County
  • Nantucket County 
New York:
  • Erie County
  • Niagara County

 Organizations may only submit one letter of inquiry per RFP cycle.

 The Foundation will host three workshops, two in Massachusetts and one in New York, for organizations that anticipate requesting a grant. Space is limited and prior registration is required. Please see the RFPs for more information.
